The Brian Group had its origins on Sydney's Northern Beaches and has been servicing commercial and small business clients, high
net-worth individuals and superannuation funds since 1978.
We provide business services, superannuation, taxation, accounting, and assurance services to a wide range of clients,
including individuals, sole traders, partnerships, companies, trusts and self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs).
Our two principals, Anthony Brian and Greg Brian, own the family run practice in its second generation. They are supported by
a fantastic team of technical and administrative staff who are looking forward to meeting you.

Anthony Brian

Director Principal
Anthony is a Director Principal with over 30 years of experience. Anthony brings his caring approach to all his work providing taxation, accounting, business advisory and superannuation services to a broad range of clients including subsidiaries of multinationals, privately owned businesses and high net-worth individuals.
Anthony graduated from Macquarie University in 1992, whilst completing his undergraduate cadetship at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He has since worked with PWC (Assistant Manager Audit/Consulting), and Enterasys Networks (South Pacific Financial Controller), which have provided him with experience in trust account audits, controls reviews, organisational restructuring and IT Systems implementation. It has also given him extensive experience with medium and large sized audit clients including various Manufacturing and Financial Services entities. Anthony has been a principal of The Brian Group since it was formed in 2006, and has worked extensively on small business accounting and taxation issues.
Greg Brian

Director Principal
Greg is a Director Principal with over 35 years of experience. Greg provides a high level of technical expertise with a caring nature. His specialities include taxation, accounting, business advisory and superannuation services. He services a broad range of clients including high net-worth individuals and privately owned businesses.
Greg graduated from Sydney University in 1988 (B. Ec.) and 1990 (B. LLB) and then gained a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the NSW College of Law in 1991. He has since worked with PWC where he was promoted from an undergraduate position as a Corporate Tax Specialist to Corporate Tax Manager, where he gained experience in many business sectors including advertising, manufacturing and distribution, computer and IT businesses as well as assisting with international expatriate tax programs. It has also given him extensive experience with medium and large sized businesses including many multinational clients. Greg has been a principal of The Brian Group since its 2006 formation, and has worked extensively on small business acounting, tax planning and advising on SMSF superannuation taxation planning and compliance issues.
SMSF Supervisor
Trish is an SMSF supervisor with many years of experience in the finance industry. Trish has spent the last 5 years at The Brian Group specialising in providing superannuation and administrative support to SMSF trustees. Trish is always ready help. This together with her infectious smile and relaxed attitude make her a delight to deal with.
Carine Brown

Business Services - Senior Manager
In 2020 Carine became a Business Services Client Manager. She has many years of professional accounting experience. Carine spent several years specialising in SMSF administration and is now focused on providing taxation, accounting and business advisory services. Her former work as an auditor has given her a keen eye for detail and a great ability to see the big picture.
Business Services - Client Manager
Clara has come to TBG as a Client Manager with over 30 years of experience, managing clients with business, investment and advisory needs. Fluent in English and Spanish, Clara likes to develop strong relationships with her clients and we look forward to her strong organisational skills.
Senior Manager
Simone is a Senior Manager and specialises in providing assurance services in the self-managed superannuation fund area. She has over 25 years of experience providing audit and assurance services to a wide range of entities including listed entities, private entities, real estate agencies, charities and both APRA funds and SMSFs.
Senior Accountant
Chris started with us in October 2022 with over 15 years of experience in tax and accounting. Chris is diligent and has plenty of experience in both BGL360, Xero and MYOB. With great interpersonal skills we look forward to him meeting our clients.
Accountant
Sarah has a positive attitude and comes to The Brian Group with a wealth of accounting knowledge and experience.
Client Relations Administrator
Fiona is our friendly Client Service Administrator. Fiona is always ready to help and give direction to your needs. If you need administrative guidance or directions Fiona will help you out. Fiona is essential in managing our job workflow.
Office Administrator
Tracey runs our internal Finance and Administration. She also provides back-office support to our team.
Administration Reception
Lani's has over 4 years’ of experience in Customer service. She is polite, friendly and welcoming on reception, with a passion for delivering excellent administrative support. “My receptionist roles have entailed getting to know our clients on a personal level, always being willing to assist with any queries, or finding a solution to any problem. And after years of working in customer service, I can honestly say how much I enjoy helping where I can and giving the best service"
SMSF Accountant
Johanna (Joh) has been with us since December 2021. With over 2 years experience as an SMSF Accountant now Joh has prooved to be a valuable member of our SMSF team. She is bright and bubbly, a quick learner and has been a fantastic member of the team.

Karren has been with us since October 2022. With over many years of experience as an accountant Karren will provide a new dynamic to the group. During Karren's short time with us she has proven to be a quick learner and a valuable member of our team.

Romy has been with us since July 2023. With over 2 years experience as a accounting assistant, Romy has fitted right into the team and is providing fast and accurate support for the senior team members. He is bright and bubbly, a quick learner and has been a fantastic member of the team.
